About us

Ian Rasmussen bought his first truck in 1972. It was a Scania 80 with load and 10 tm crane. Ian's father-in-law, Menning Geyti, had a truck, which Ian bought in 1976. Menning started with trucks right after the war after he had been sailing for many years.

Menning started in 1950 with a Bedford truck, which he switched with an Austin in the late 50's. In 1965 Menning bought his first Scania Vabis, which he had for three years and which his son, Helgi Geyti bought. Then Menning bought another Scania 80 without crane.

In 1972 Menning bought his last Scania 85 with crane, which Ian and Bergtóra, Menning's daughter, bought in 1976.

Ian also bought his father's truck who also had trucks and machines. This was about year 1980.

More and bigger trucks came to the company after Ian bought Menning's truck. First a 3 axle Scania 140 with tipper and in 1979 came a 3 axle Scania 111 with a 19 tm Hiab crane and tipper. This was big in 1979.

In 1982 Ian bought his first trailer and this was unusual in 1982. since then the number of trucks in the company has been growing and at one point there were 23 trucks. The company has always had different kinds of truck and we can transport almost anything.

In October 2011 Rasmus bought the company. Today there are 20 trucks. We have both big ans small cranes from 22 tm to 92 tm, dumpers of all kinds, trucks to transport asphalt, trucks and trailers to transport machines, containers and many other things.

Rasmus and his wife Marjun lead the company today.

The company offers all kinds of transport.
